Welcome to Napoleon Elementary School's official web page. I am Principal Adam Niese. I have been principal of 600+ students in grades 3-6 at NES since 2016. Prior to serving as principal at NES, I was principal of Central Elementary for ten years and the assistant principal at Napoleon Middle School for one year.
After graduating from Napoleon High School, I attended Bowling Green State University where I acquired my BA of Science in Education. After doing so, I pursued and obtained my Master’s Degree in Education (with a focus in Administration), Educational Specialist Degree (with a focus in Administration & Curriculum), PK-12 principal license, Curriculum, Instruction, & Professional Development license, and Superintendent license through the University of Toledo. Prior to becoming an administrator at Napoleon, I taught in the Archbold school district and substituted in Bowling Green City Schools.
I am thrilled and honored to serve as a principal in the community in which I grew up. I can speak from experience as a graduate of NAS when saying; "Napoleon Area Schools helps to inspire all students to excel in life by providing excellent educational experiences." It is very exciting to work in a building with students and staff that desire to keep up with the grand tradition of excellence the people of Napoleon have come to expect from their schools. It is refreshing to know that our community supports our schools. This is seen with the involvement of community members and our Parent Teacher Organization within our school. You all make our school a better place to be.
